Very windy morning in the peaks, setting off from sheffield at 6:30 to go shoot Winnats pass in Castleton, I've been here for sunrise a number of times however I'm still after a cloud inversion, unfortunately this morning wasn't the one either. Despite the heavy winds almost blowing me off the edge, the sunrise was beautiful as always. One of the positives of shorter daylight hours are more achievable sunrise missions. Happy with how the IRIX Performed in terms of distoritions and lens flare and the field of view is amazing for those hard to get landscapes. its difficult from this test to analyse sharpness. The photos doesn't seem to be as sharp as I was expecting but that may be due to movement on the tripod. Tomorrows interior shoot will be a true test of all parameters.

After much deliberation I decided to purchase a IRIX 15mm F2.4 Blackstone wide angle which is super sharp with almost no distortion, perfect for interior shoots. I also purchased a 35mm F1.4 which is a lovely addition to my kit bag.
